Configure Joystick in Dolphin Standalone?!?!
-
I'd like to configure a Joystick in Dolphin standalone, ideally by editing an .ini but how?!?!? Does anyone have a correctly configured file they can share w/ me? I'm running on a Pi 5 and lr-dolphin isn't working for me on this countercade I built: https://www.reddit.com/r/cade/comments/1ji6efy/comment/mlue8w1/?context=3

I can get an xfce4 desktop and launch the dolphin UI now. Unfortunately, I can't do anything with it 'cause I can't click on anything. Mouse movement is inverted and left click does not work.
Kernel recognizes it correctly, X11 does not. UDEV rule did not work. -

What kind of mouse do you have ? Almost all mice should work without issues in the desktop - regardless of the application started.

@mitu It's a gaming mouse and it seems that because it has programmable buttons X11 thinks it's a keyboard. None of the mice I've tested worked. Some only have fwd and bckwd buttons but apparently that's all it takes to confuse X11. Xinput test doesn't register anything, but evtest does. I bought a super basic mouse and will try that out tomorrow.

Anyways, you're going to find this hilarious, it turns out, left click was working this whole time! The problem was, get this, the screen was inverted so even though the pointer LOOKED like it was over an icon, it wasn't! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA.
Best fix I have so far: remove inversion in /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt, invert xfce4 in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-screen-rotate.conf, work upsidedown in retropie and launch xfce4, configure a controller, and reinsert inversion thru the cmdline.txt.
Anyone know of a script that will persistently invert mouse coordinates in xfce4?

Now the issue is that when I try to configure my xbox controller, a hundred pop-up boxes appear alternating between "connected" and "disconnected."
