      Hey guys,

Purchased my first Pi the other week (RPi3) and installed 3.6 about a week ago and updated to 3.7 last night. So far I have been having a pretty smooth run with it all but the one thing I can't seem to figure out is how to get my N64 roms to run smoothly. I read in the wiki that you should set the resolution of the emulator to something lower so that it doesn't try upscaling. I have tried doing this through the advanced menu and through the config when you first start the game but neither are giving me the results I am looking for. Specifically the ROM that is struggling the most is Goldeneye. Has anyone got suggestions on where and what settings to use for the best performance?

      Thanks

Making changes everyday so keep up to date with it,

Goldeneye is best at 640X480 with Glide pLlugin

@Twitch0815 Ah well that would make sense as I was using the rice plug as I think that is the default right? How do I change it to the glide plugin? Do I do it through the advanced menu > install individual emulators?

Thanks for the useful info, I have a proper handle on it now. Seems like I really need to be looking at overclocking for it to work properly. I may have to give up on playing Goldeneye as I really don't want to overlclock my Pi.
