Roms (Black Screen) After 4.0.2 Fresh Install
-
So I've been running on a PI2 with Retro v 3.X for a while now. I just grabbed a new PI3 and decided to give it a go at Retropie so i Downloaded the latest version 4.0.2 last night burned it onto a new SD card loaded up my roms and..... black screen. I know these rom files are good because it works fine on my other PI. Any suggestions on what to check? I load the ROM it says Launching with lr-snex-9x-next and then the screen just goes black.

Well you didn't give us much to go off from. Not to state the obvious but are you using your power adapter from your Rpi2? The Rpi3 requires a 5v 2.5 amp power adapter.

Sorry i realize i didn't have much info but I updated with as much information as I have. Yes I am using the PI3 power adapter. I don't really have more of an error message to help with as the screen is just black and stays black.

Which system ? Which Emulator ? Which Rom ? What's the rom filename ?
(get emulator name from https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/runcommand)

seems as though your post update didn't show - possibly some cache issue with the forum.
