      Hello,

      I've bought a USB sound adapter and followed this article - https://delightlylinux.wordpress.com/2016/02/09/usb-audio-and-retropie-3-4-for-better-sound/

      When I edit sudo nano /etc/asound.conf

      with

      pcm.!default {
      type hw card 1
      }
      ctl.!default {
      type hw card 1
      }

      and reboot my 2 USB controllers on my bartop stop working, if I remove the above they start working again.

      This is what I have:

      pi@retropie:~ $ lsusb
      Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0d8c:000c C-Media Electronics, Inc. Audio Adapter
      Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0079:0006 DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick
      Bus 001 Device 005: ID 045e:0719 Microsoft Corp. Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter
      Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0079:0006 DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick
      Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0424:ec00 Standard Microsystems Corp. SMSC9512/9514 Fast Ethernet Adapter
      Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp.
      Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

      Any ideas?

      Thanks
