Trying to run ROMS from USB deletes all Systems
-
Following the wiki for Running ROMs from a USB drive
I follow the terminal instructions however after - "Now we can move our existing RetroPie folder to our new USB drive. Enter the command:"
sudo mv -v /home/pi/RetroPie/* /media/usb0/
I then try to Configure fstab and request the UUID however this deletes all systems from my Emulation Station and I have to re-write to the SD card.
This is on Retropie 4.0.2
Is there an updated Wiki process for the latest version?

Please try this. It just links from /home/pi/retropie/roms to your USB drive /media/usb/roms
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2582/can-my-usb-device-have-data-on-it-already/5
Please create ROMS folder on USB, fill your ROMS according to your systems.
PSX games are located to /media/usb/roms/psx and so on....
PS: The systems are not deleted. On your first attempt you seem to miss the correct configuration and so RetroPie can not find any ROMs and so no EMU-system is displayed. There is really nothing "deleted".
