What is EmulationStation doing when it's doing nothing?
-
I've got RetroPie installed on Raspbian on a Pi 3.
I leave it on all the time, and when it's just sitting at the EmulationStation screen (where you can select your console), this process:
/opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation/emulationstation
Is always using around 5% of the CPU, why is that? Shouldn't it be pretty much idle?

Playing a game?
Sorry couldn't resist. No idea, @BuZz would know.

Listening for input, updating variables, other things... It may still render the screen even when "idle" too. 5% is pretty idle anyway.
I'm not actually that familiar with the ES code base.
