hi everyone! I just finally finished my full sized arcade cabinet with 6 buttons (plus start and select) and 1 joystick per person. ones, nes, genesis and mame run flawlessly. But i was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for a goldeneye retrarch config just for it so that I could play it despite not having enough buttons. 2 player would be nice so is there a way to run goldeneye with one joystick and 6 buttons?

You can try to not map the c-up and down buttons. That way you have enough buttons to strafe, change weapons, and shoot.
The autoaim in the game should get you covered ;). But Then your friends cannot choose Monkey as character because he is to small to shoot and you can't aim up nor down. But this is the best config I could think of.

Could you please post an example of a retroarch.cfg showing this?

Haven't tried it myself, but I think it's your best option.
