      Not sure if this has been suggested, but I figured a feature that would pick a rom at random from all available files would be cool. Kind of like a "I'm feeling lucky" button - if you have a spare 10mins or whatever, want a quick play on something and don't have time/cant be bothered to deliberate over what to play, hit the button and the randomizer picks something for you.

      No idea if this could be done with a shell script or something, any thoughts?

          Yeah, basically that. I feel daft now; I actually searched google for the terms "retropie randomizer" and all I got was stuff about splashscreens.
          Thanks though, I'll give the kid mode rom roulette a try later and see if it's functional. Does anyone know if we CAN bring this feature to the normal ES mode with a script or something?
