no rom folders!

hello i have just got my hands on a raspberry pi3 model b which i have loaded retropie on to but when i go to add roms to the folders there are no rom folders to be found. what can i do about this?

(You won't see the rom folders with the sdcard plugged into your PC if that is what you are doing - this is in the documentation)
