I am wondering if anyone has tried using an android tablet as a monitor for RetroPie? I have googled it and seen that it can be done for the Raspberry Pi, but I haven't found anything to say if it works with RetroPie as well, or just shows the SSH? Anyone know?

@Dominus no. there are workarounds and hacks but short of a lot of coding brilliance you can't do it.

using a vnc client will work in an x environment, but emulationstation and retropie run direct on the framebuffer so that method will not work.
