      hi all,

      i am just about finished with my pi3, having upgraded from a 2. I decided to try and get a few emu's running thru MESS just to see what, if any difference there may be. in particular, i am trying to get atari 5200 running and will follow that with vertex to try and get the overlays working.

      i've followed any and all guides i have ben able to find and when i start a game for the 5200, i either get a red screen or, mess comes up but is stuck on "initializing". can anyone help me out? fyi, i have named my moms per the a5200.xml file that is generated when installing the experimental. here are the lines from my es_systems.cfg:

      <system>
      <fullname>atari5200</fullname>
      <name>atari5200</name>
      <path>~/RetroPie/roms/atari5200/a5200</path>
      <extension>.a52 .bin .A52 .BIN</extension>
      <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 SYS lr-mess %ROM%</command>
      <platform>atari5200</platform>
      <theme>atari5200</theme>
      </system>
