      Hi @ all,

      has anyone here encoutered this before?

      Tested pocketsnes. cats and snes9x on retropie. same on every emulator. on PC the same ROM is fine on SNES9x.

      strange!

          I'm guessing it's a castlevania game but information like rpi system etc would be handy.

            it's castlevania iv for SNES and I run it on pi zero (retropie 4.0.3) (tried all available emulators to no avail).
            strangely it runs fine on snes9x on PC, but not on snes9x for retropie. how come?

              You are running older versions of snes9x on the RPI. Unfortunately on a RPI zero the older ones are the only choice.

                thanks for letting me know. why is it that the rpi0 emus are not updated to the latest versions?

                  @naddel81 because of performance. They would be too slow.
