Mame update roms CHDS

Hi, I saw the post of https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/4634/final-burn-alpha-0-2-97-39-is-out/30 , so I decided to update my romset to 0.175; after using a guide in that post (clrmame etc) I updated them to 0.175 but In the guide says something to update the CHDS too.
SO I supose that the CHDS get updated with the romset update pack, and I saw CHDS packs of 600 gbs!!, could someone clarify me this?. at the end, it´s easyer to find a 0.175 mame rom pack and download it :S

FBA doesn't use CHDs.
