Add a sub-forum/category to my watch list

Hi,
I know I can add a topic to my watch list. But how can I add a sub-forum/category (i.e. the Announcements category) to my watch list? I can't find the option to do that and I know many other forums allow their users to do that. :)

I have added a plugin which allows this - you should see a "subscribe" button at the top of each category section now.
