      Hi

      I have many emulators set up on my pi which I intend to house in an arcade cabinet. The Amiga is one of the most important to me but is proving the most troublesome.

      I have uae4arm setup so my games (whdload) launch from emulationstation. The problem I'm having is the arcade controls I've set up aren't:

      1. Being recognised automaticall by the games. I'm having to hit F12 and select the generic usb joystick from the drop down. Not much use for an arcade machine.
      2. the joystick directions are messed up. right=left
        left=right
        Up and down do nothing.

      It feels like I'm near yet so far. P.S. the arcade controls I have work in all other emulators fine and my 8bitdo controller works fine in uae4arm apart from having to manually assign it via F12 menu.

      Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        @pinapples73

        A lot of arcade joysticks are read as keyboard input. Unfortunately, I believe UAE4ARM requires that a joystick be read as a controller axis.
