No Vice in my 4.1 ?

I am new to all this and installed the latest 4.1 image on my Pi3.
When I connected to it I did not find a "c64" directory in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ as I thought I should. I created one by hand and copied a game in there but it does not bring up vice in the emulationstation menu like with the other emus/roms.
Where might be my mistake?

I found it. I had to install it by hand via
P Manage packages > opt Manage optional packages
Would have deleted my post but that is not possible by now. Maybe some other newbie will encounter the same problem and finds this post over the SEARCH. ^^

I had the same problem,where the hell is Doom then I realized that it not installed,its to make the image smaller so it don't take long to download.
