      Hi, I've built myself a bartop arcade and everything is working fine but was never happy with amp. It was a cheap circuit board amp from ebay but the sound wasn't the best quality.

      I've bought myself an amp hat made by justboom, seems good quality and back powers the Raspberry Pi. Will this work with retropie?

      I can only see audio options for HDMI or for the 3.5 jack.

        Hi there,

        Not tried RetroPie with the JustBoom boards yet, although our man Francesco (@GarageTechTweet on Twitter) is working on software tutorials as we speak so I've asked him to add this to the list!

        In the meantime though, you should be able to add the following line to the file /boot/config.txt and it should enable the audio card:

        dtoverlay=justboom-dac

        You may also need to comment out the line following line by adding a # in front of it:

        dtparam=audio=on

        Let me know if that works?

        Thanks
