      Hi Everyone

I have just started out on Raspberry pies and am enjoying it so far. I have a question (Which I think I can guess teh answer but wanted to be sure)

I created a SDcard image on a 16GB card and I have becked it up (creating an img) using win32diskimager
      My question is..

I need more space so if I buy a 32GB card and restore my image to that will the retropie read it as a 32GB card with my image using all the space or because I restored from a 16GB image will it only see 16GB even when on the 32GB card.

      My next question is..

If the 32GB card does stay at 16 when imaged is there a way to resize the card so I can get my image on there and use the full 32GB?

It'll be 16GB on the 32GB card. That said, I'm not sure if the Pi only resizes the file system when it first boots, or if it tries to resize the file system every time it boots.

To manually tell the Pi to expand the file system go into raspi-config and select the option to expand the filesystem and reboot and then you'll be using the whole card.
