Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this question:

I do have a little trouble getting the z6 games to run on the frotz emulator. I've copied the zip file into the roms folder, I've also added the cg1, eg1 and mg1 files but I still can't see any graphics when I start a game. Do I miss something or is there a setting switch somewhere or is frotz designed to work as a "text only" interpreter that ignores the graphics that came with the z6 games?

I searched around the net for answers, but I haven't found any yet. So thanks a lot and any help is appreciated :)

@Bmuig from my two seconds of googling it seems frotz doesn't support the graphics from the z6 games.

It's a terminal only app anyway (no gfx output at all - just text)

@herb_fargus hmm .. I found those threads, too .. but I actually understood that frotz does indeed support graphics (at least in the windows version). The first one talks about the fact that frotz ignores the resolution from the settings and just displays the graphics unscaled.
"Peering into the source code a bit, it seems that it does some scaling for Infocom's z6 games, but otherwise just displays all pictures at a 1:1 scale".

But if you both agree that the Retropie Frotz works only on the terminal I will accept that (which kind of makes sense for an IF interpreter) :)
Thanks a lot for your help and keep up the great work
