Two player puzzle recomendations.

Hi

Really enjoying playing with the wife on mostly two player puzzle games, looking for some more recommendations puzzle is preferred but I'll consider anything.

Currently we are battling with:

Columns 3
Dr Robotik mean beanz
Tetris Attack
Yoshis cookie
Tetris 3
Puyo Puyo 2 (and variants)
Pieces

Anyone got anything else to challenge us anything good in Mame?

I have the same problem, there seems to be a strange shortage of fun 2player puzzle games! I think you have a solid list so far. The only suggestions I have for you off the top of my head are:

Tetris & Dr. Mario pack on the SNES
Tetris TENGEN on NES (you can play co-op and versus!)
Quarth (Famicom, co-op and versus)
Pac-Attack (SNES)
Krazy Kreatures NES
Super Bomberman 2 SNES

Not puzzle, but fun two player co-op titles:
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers NES
Snake Rattle 'n Roll
Gauntlet 4 (that might be a stretch for your wife)

is my favourite. Also known as Bust a move in versions 1 2 3 and 4

Super puzzle fighter 2 turbo is my favorite puzzle game.
You should give a try to magical drop (2 and 3, never tried the first) and twinkle star sprites too.
I also recommend windjammer, but this is not a puzzle game.

All those games are arcade and should be available in both mame2003+ and fbalpha.
