      I got my Raspberry Pi 3B a few days ago and I'm running into a couple of problems with RetroPie. I hope you guys can help me solve them. For now only the NES roms are working properly but the screen is so stretched out. How can I make it look better? I dont want it to be fullscreen because it makes the games look ugly. I have also tried SNES and SMS roms and they are very laggy and the screen stutters a lot. I haven't looked into any newer systems but they're probably even worse. How can I fix this? I've already installed all the updates, not done any overclocking though.

        What PSU are you using ? Please check https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and provide more information if possible. What output resolution are you using ? Are you using shaders ?

          @BuZz Sorry I am a complete noob to this, so I don't know much about it. I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B with 2.5A official foundation power adapter. Using Retropie version 3.6. I'm not using any shaders, I don't know how that works. It looks like the pixels are being stretched and gives a blurry look. I tried 640x480 and a few others but it keeps looking bad. 4:3 or 16:9 doesn't make a difference either.

            @Eli95 update the RetroPie-Setup script, and go into the configuration editor - turn off smoothing - then where you changed the resolution before, set it to the native res of your display.

            dont force the aspect ratio - the "core provided" aspect ratio should be fine.

              @BuZz Thanks for your answer. I did manage to change the smooth setting but now im having troubles with the resolution. When I start a game and then go into the configuration of that game I try to change CEA-4 into something else but when I press enter and go back it didn't change anything. It's impossible to choose any other option for some reason :S And native resolution means I have to use 1920x1080?

                @BuZz Nevermind, I found the option where I can reset the output. It looks perfect now, thanks so much :D
