Is it possible to go to directly to game list?
-
@josephchrzempiec You'd have to boot to the main menu, but if you remove all the other systems but leave the N64, it will be the only one shown and you can go to the gameslist after that.
-
You don't need to delete anything, just edit es_systems.cfg and put n64 on top of all systems, the first system, but i repeat, you will boot into main menu and directly on n64 system but NOT on gamelist. You only need to press a button to join gamelist, it's not so hard...
Since EmulationStation is a frontend for multi system you always will boot in system selection screen.
Don't use ES and use only the emulator.

Hello how do i map a button for Gamelist to join?
-

I'm a little confused. When visit the site it looks like that is to configure controllers. I'm using a USB nes controller. So a little lost on how to map it for gamelist.
-
@josephchrzempiec i mean that you can make emulationstation just boot into n64 system directly but not on gamelist, then you only need to press "fire" and you are on gamelist.
-
@Nismo Hello So move the N64 all the way at the top of the list. in the retropie-setup.sh. But where is that file at? If i winscp into it.
And after i do that save and reboot then it will go to the main menu and then automatically go to the N64. When i do that sense I'm using a USB NES classic controller i just hit the A button to see game list and go from there? -
@josephchrzempiec just edit es_systems.cfg and put n64 on top of all systems, the first system, not retropie-setup.sh.
The file must be in \home\pi\emulationstation\es_systems.cfg
You can see every system like this:
<system> <name>atari2600</name> <fullname>Atari 2600</fullname> <path>/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari2600</path> <extension>.a26 .bin .rom .zip .gz .A26 .BIN .ROM .ZIP .GZ</extension> <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 _SYS_ atari2600 %ROM%</command> <platform>atari2600</platform> <theme>atari2600</theme> </system>
Notice that every system start with <system> and ends with </system>.
Just find n64 system and put it on top of the list, save changes and reboot.
Read carefully i already told you this before.
And yes once you are there only hit fire and see gamelist.
