Has anyone tried a RetroPie build with a LattePanda?
The hardware MIGHT be powerful enough to get another generation of emulators and some arcade games working that don't quite run well on the Pi3 (though I'm worried that the GPU on the LattePanda may not be any better).
It looks like it comes with Windows 10, though you can boot Linux from USB.

It looks like it is running an Intel Adam 1.8GHz quad-core proc and 2-4 GB or RAM! I bet you could install Lubuntu or Xubuntu and then just do the Manual Installation of RetroPie. You might loose a little bit of the power gained because you'd need a Windows Manager running. -
@enderandrew The temps seems to go so high so it will need active cooling.

Even with cooling the temps are very high for my liking:
