lr-fuse with support for the "Recreated Sinclair ZX Spectrum" bluetooth keyboard
-
A friend of mine created a tiny patch for FUSE 1.1.1 to be able to use it with the Recreated ZX Spectrum in Mode A (“Game Mode”). You can find and download the code here: http://blogs.newphoria.de/2016/04/15/using-recreated-zx-spectrum-with-fuse-1-1-1-emulator/
I compiled it and tested it on fuse with RetroPie and it works like a charm. Then I tried to compile his code on lr-fuse but unfortunately it won't work. Maybe some of you guys are interested and compile it in the next libretro version? Would be awesome. -
Although we do contribute back to various projects, you would probably be better going to the libretro project for that - https://github.com/libretro/fuse-libretro - with the patch for fuse 1.1.1 it's probably a good idea to get that into the upstream code also (we could perhaps includea patch with RetroPie though if others will find it useful - I couldn't see a patch on the linked site though - a diff is needed). Thanks.

Ok, i will forward this, thanks.

Hey @teller
I can't get my Recreated ZX to connect to my RPi3 via Bluetooth. Have you?
Works ok via USB cable, in QWERTY mode.
What advantage does this patch offer? Should I check it out??

@teller hi did you have any luck getting this into lr yet? I'm not sure how to get my spectrum recreated keyboard working and I'm desperate for a bash on werewolves of london with native keyboard support in mode A!!
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
