Setting hot key n64

I am at a loss....
I tried to set the Keys for N64 to match the controller configuration...
When I manually typed it, it ended up erasing the hot key commands and when I re-entered it, it exits the emulator when I press the hotkey (for my controller it's button 10)
All other emulators work other then N64... I would love to be able to load and save state

Go into
/opt/retropie/configs/all/autoconf.cfgand change mupen64plus_hotkeys to 0. That will stop it from writing over your custom edits.
