Sonic Adventure 2 on Pi 3 - Very glitchy
-
Hi,
Just got Dreamcast running on my Pi 3 with Retropie 3.6 and Sonic Adventure 2 is almost unplayable i.e. performance is nowhere near what's shown in this video.
Are there some settings I should be tweaking to get it running smoother? Have looked round but not found anything that looks promising.
Thanks,
Sam.

I'm currently having issues with dreamcast as well. All my games have audio issues, most play smooth though but not all. I've tried all different resolutions etc but nothing is working. The roms are so large that it's just not worth them taking up space.

What a lot of the online videos fail to mention is that they are overclocking their Pi3 for the best results in these more demanding emulators. The Rpi group have yet to release any advisable settings for overclocking a Pi3 that would not void your warranty, let alone damage the Pi3 itself. However, you can find user-based recommendations for overclocking a Pi3 all over the net. I hope you'll excuse me if I don't recommend any particular settings here.
