Largest Capacity USB DRIVE?

@edmaul69 Also, what exactly do you mean by a "powered USB hub"? can you link me one?
-
@SeTzX i downloaded them individually as many as i could at a time. Took about a week. Here is the link:

@SeTzX as far as powered hubs i try to avoid really cheap powered hubs. You get what you pay for. I personally like using the powered usb hubs for rockband. (The ones that have four ports in a row and come with a power cord) you need to make sure it comes with a power cord. Otherwise its just a standard usb hub that gets its power from the system.

@edmaul69 Would this one be good?

-
@SeTzX hub supplies the power to the hub allowing more power resources for the pi. Those hubs are good. However, i think there are issues with the pi and usb 3.0 hubs. I think you need a usb 2.0 hub
-
@edmaul69 What hub do you personally use with your harddrive? I thought that you had said you need USB 3.0... I am very confused here...
-
@SeTzX get a USB 2 hub. Powered. I bought an Amazon USB 3 thinking I would "future proof" it .. total waste of time. The Pi will not even see a USB 3 hub. Get an Amazon basics 4 Port powered Usb 2 hub. If you need it; shouldn't be too much.
-
@SeTzX the hard drive has to be a usb 3.0 to use without a hub. Not as good as using a powered hub though. (Pi doesnt use 3.0. The hard drives just require less power than a usb 2.0 hard drive) to use a hub it has to be a 2.0 hub. I use a powered rockband four port hub that has the four ports in a row. But you need to make sure you get a powered one. The guy above this post recommended a good one as well
-
@edmaul69 So a USB 2.0 Hub will still work with a 3.0 Drive, correct?
Is this a good option: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Port-USB-Power-Adapter/dp/B00DQFGJR4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1483133842&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+2.0+hub+5v
