ili9341 2.8" Screen "Waiting for headers"

Hi I'm trying to get my 2.8" screen to work with retropie.
This is the screen that I have.

it goes through and stops at "100% [3 Packages xz 0 B] [Waiting for headers]" and I can't exit out of it.Thanks in advance.

@Yamt are you overclocked ? bad sdcard ? Or networking problem ? The point where it has crashed is when it updates the package database etc - looks like it's waiting for a response from a remote server which could point to a networking issue, or something else has caused it to crash (ssh in and type
dmesg
- it might provide some info). -
It was a network problem. I got it to run the commands, but on reboot it doesn't display to the screen.
