Hi, all I would like to install YAPE (a cycle exact c16 emulator which runs all C16/plus 4 games, unlike VICE), but this is not on the list of supported emulators. Is it possible to use this emulator on RetroPie.
The website http://yape.homeserver.hu/download.htm says it has Yape/SDL, source code of the SDL2 version (Linux, Solaris, BeOS, FreeBSD, Raspberry Pi, Mac etc.): I would just like to know could this be used with this brilliant program, and if so how would I set it up.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, as this was my first computer and I would love to include it in my RetroPie setup. Thanks in advance wiiant.

@wiiant the real question is if there are any ARM specific optimisations for the pi that would lend any benefit over the current vice emulator or if due to the lack of processing power of the pi it would run like cold tar in attempting cycle accuracy ;)

looks the source is available, but will require basic compilation knowledge and even more retropie specific knowledge to turn it into a module for retropie. I don't really have time to look into it but there are guides online for compiling under Linux and there probably is a specific guide for compilation on the emulator site or readme

If you read the documentation it will answer 99% of your questions: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/
