      Reicast is not loading any roms or systemmanager whatsoever. I've scoured the forums and the web looking for issues with my particular setup for days, but I'm stumped. BIOS files have been verified with checksums on other posts, I'm in the process of looking for alternate ways to find roms that might be more reliable, but from what I've read, systemmanager should still do something when I run it?

      axis_x_inverted = no
      axis_y_inverted = no

      How to replicate the problem: Running Reicast, watching it fail miserably.

      If there's anything I've left out, I'll gladly add them, thanks again.

        So I've verified that other ROMs, both cdi and gdi, will not run. I'm sure the problem has something to do with input configuration, although I've tried using both my 360 and PS3 wireless controllers and checked through evdev/evtest to make sure the correct controller is configured each time.

          I'm having exactly the same issues.

          I know the forum rules said not to put "Me Too", but you are using the exact same equipment and software as me! Literally!

          dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin in the BIOS folder, games with the .cdi extension in the games folder.

          Boot up RetroPie, go to Dreamcast, select any game, screen goes blank for a second, pop up says loading, then screen goes blank again then back to game selection.

          I'm lost!

            Yeah, I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've completely deleted the emulator and any files associated with it and reinstalled it, and I still get the same issue. I've tried changing the number of devices it's looking for in reicast.sh, I've checked and double checked the controller configs for both my PS3 and Xbox controllers to make sure they were set and named correctly and pointed at from emu.cfg. I've deleted my configs and reconfigured each controller at least twice to make sure that wasn't the issue. Verified both bios files and redownloaded again for good measure. Downloaded a gdi version of the same game just to see if cdi was the issue. I'm out of ideas on what to try next.
