Sound stutter on Minish Cap (GBA) on RPI2
-
I'm trying to play Minish Cap with lr-vba-next, but the sound stutters.
Is someone able to paste a configuration that solves the sound problem?
Thank you very much for your support!

@Arcuza I put my RetroPie 3.7 image from my Pi 3 on my Pi 2 to gift to my friend this morning and noticed some sound issues present on the Pi 2 with lr-vba-next which were not on the Pi 3.
I changed the default emulator for GBA to lr-mgba and the sound was perfect.
Perhaps you could try that emulator instead?

@Charco thank you, I'll try that later today. I were hoping to be able to change to 22 kHz, because that has solved me a lot of problems through the years. Do you know how to do that?

@Arcuza I can't do it from the RetroArch menu, maybe you can do it in the config file but I haven't checked.

@Arcuza navigate to samba shares configs\gba\retroarch.cfg
add this line to the top
audio_out_rate = 22000
make sure its above this line of text...Settings made here will only override settings in the global retroarch.cfg if placed above the #include line
This should only affect the gameboyadvance emulator
if you want it for all emulators you have to navigate to /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg (i use filezilla for this) or ssh into it
Not sure but i think this is how to do it, if someone else can confirm
