Hi good folks! Hope Im posting this in the right section. I grew up in the 80s and love retro games. I have tried different setups, like the Armiga, but they seem unfinished and not stable. How is the retropie? Do things "just work" or is there a consideral job tweaking and finding good working roms?

How about 2 player modus? Issues, or does IT work well?

Or to put it more bluntly: Can an 8 year old turn on retro pie and start gaming?😀 (when properly set up)

Hunting for the perfect retro machine, I hope this is finally it.

      Thanks guys 😀

@prybom My 7 year olds use it no problem. When you say "just work", this is not the case as it needs to be set up properly depending on what you want to play. I set mine up in about 2 hours with no prior knowledge. It worked so well, I built a dedicated cabinet. If you don't read the instructions though, you will be making trouble for yourself.
