@Nismo I did this and still no image I am suppose to edit the flat.xml right? edit nvm I assume it has to do with motionblue gameslists because it doesn't save my scrapes either so all good.

@lilbud I think you need to raise the delay of video a bit for a rpi.
This is what I'll use in my next version of my theme:
<video name="md_video"> <delay>0.5</delay>I hope this helps.

@Nismo Where do you think the marquee would work best? Other than where it is now.

@lilbud I think it's ok where marquees are, top right, but centered inside the white zone.
The problem is some systems with large names like "Nintendo entertainment system" .
Another option it's to move down a bit metada info, and place marquees inside the metadata box, on top of "rating". There's free space in bottom side of metadata box, just put that free space on top and marquee there. (I think this could be the best).
Or maybe just place the marquees out of the screen , that way you avoid to show the marquees art on your theme even if it exist.

so after using this theme more I vote keep it where it is. and my only issue so far is on Sega Genesis the top left logo says nintendo and my TG16 is broke but that might be my gamelist. and then the dark theme and I am set. This is deff my new daily drive theme.
so I switched my tg16 back to pcengine and my genesis back to megadrive and they work now except pcengine is blue in carasoule like sega but says nintendo in top left logo so confused there.

@greekmanx You have to change the tags in the theme.xml.
Should be something like this
<image>./../Nintendo.png</image>
change it to this
<image>./../Sega.png</image>I'll fix the theme later

so all is good now got dark mode and video is working and I fixed the logo in pcengine so all good. I am happy now just need to add more roms to my image and get over the pcengine and megadrive names and I will be all set with my image.

Has anyone tested this theme (without video) on a Pi Zero? Curious if anyone has seen issues with this theme on a Pi Zero. This theme is just beautiful and I would love to use it on my Pi cart.

@Roxsteady I doubt you can have issues with this theme in a pi zero (if you don't use videos), it's a very light theme.
It's not so difficult to install it and try...

Thanks, @Nismo I'll likely backup my image and then try it. For the images, does is split those scraper 3 part images and uses them or do you have to add new images for your games? Also, how is the installation done? I m assuming you don't go through the theme options in ES(?) or do you?

@lilbud Yes I told you that you need to modify that, just because I improved your theme for video in a few minutes and I didn't want to spend time optimizing the size of marquees.
How about the marquees on top of some system logos like nes? How are you planning to solve that?

@Nismo I really don't know, I don't use video or marquees. I might just remove marquees. Since they can vary so wildly in size, I have to watch where I place them.

@lilbud See my tips on the post above, also I changed <size> for <maxSize> for marquees in your flat.xml that way you can adjust the maximum for a wheel art to not override anything.
Also remove them it's a good idea too, because I think wheels broke a bit the flat style of the theme.
