      Hello all,

I'd like to clone my present setup onto a new SD card, but naturally they're not all the same and I cannot do so as apparently the image I've made is too large to go onto the new card.

Simply put I'd like to know what commands one might use to reduce the size of the filesystem for making the copy (assuming that it might be expanded again later after the copy has been made).

I'm just getting my feet in Linux, so all and any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for that super-fast reply! I was looking at gparted but hadn't managed to get onto it around work - but that auto script seems to be just the ticket! I'll give it a crack and come back if something goes horribly wrong - if it doesn't we can assume this thread is closed :D
