@Rion i dont see the point of any of these since the keyboard hasnt worked right in libretro since retropie 4.0. You can get it to work by setting player two device to be a keyboard in msx and lose a second player. but i havent found any other system that i can do that with. So you have a choice of either keyboard or joystick on retroarch. Probably could make mouse work too but then no keyboard or joystick.

@edmaul69 Well I'm a hopeless optimist so i keep on hoping 😉

@Rion as a test in lr-tyrquake i set player ones device as a keyboard and player twos device as mouse and they both work. Escape for some reason wouldnt bring up the menu but everything else was working correctly. I am going to play around some more to try to get other things working.

@edmaul69 This sounds like more of an input bug/problem in Retroarch then the libretro cores themselves.
Have this been reported on libretro github/forums?
-
@Rion i dont know if it is a libretro problem. Not updating retroarch but updating retropie from 3.8.1 to 4.0 killed it for me and a ton of other people.

@edmaul69 Looks like it's an Retroarch bug.
