      The build for PPSSPP is failing for me, but lr-PPSSPP did build. Here are my details:

      Zotac ZBOX-BI320-U-W2 Desktop PC Celeron 2957U (Haswell)
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.1.14
      Controller used: Logitech Rumblepad 2
      Error messages received:

      -- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

      make: *** No rule to make target 'clean'. Stop.
      make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
      ~/RetroPie-Setup
      Could not successfully build ppsspp - PlayStation Portable emulator PPSSPP (/home/matt/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/ppsspp/ppsspp/PPSSPPSDL not found).

      How to replicate the problem: This is on a fresh install of Ubuntu Desktop 16.04.2 AMD64.
      I Completed the basic install and then tried to do Manage optional packages. Any help would be appreciated.

      If I download a prebuilt binary from the PPSSPP website is it possible to integrate it into RetroPie?

          in the meantime- we can install ppsspp from binaries-
          http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2017/04/install-psp-emulator-ppsspp-1-4-in-ubuntu-16-04-16-10/

            I can't reproduce it here on my Ubuntu 17.04 x64 system - maybe it was a temporarily upstream issue. Please clear the PPSSPP source folder (from retropie-setup packages menu for ppsspp) and try again. You should also open a new topic with logs and provide more information about your system - the original post is 6 months old.
