hey guys, new to retropie but its working well!

except - i built a gngeo rom set and they mostly work but i have no idea how to use my 360 pad with the emulator.

anybody got any idea how to do it?

OR - is it best to use ir-fba-next for neogeo and use the romset for that since the controls are already set up for that??

      thanks

ok i'm getting somewhere, i think i need to add:
        p1control A=J0B0,B=J0B1,C=J0B2,D=J0B3,START=J0B6,COIN=J0B10,UP=J0a1,DOWN=J0a1,LEFT=J0A0,RIGHT=J0A0,MENU=J0B7

(i found this searching around and its supposed to be the xbox settings)

        to the gngeorc file
but does anyone know where this file is in retropie 3.7 - it doesn't seem to be in the same place as in the tutorial video i watched.
Either its moved since that version i watched or i'm blind (either could be true!)

ok, got a small problem, did all that and added:
              p1control A=J0B0,B=J0B1,C=J0B2,D=J0B3,START=J0B6,COIN=J0B10,UP=J0a1,DOWN=J0a1,LEFT=J0A0,RIGHT=J0A0,MENU=J0B7

to the gngeorc file and the controller works BUT:
coin is the center big xbox button and start is the left trigger.

              that seems weird
does anyone know the code for the start and select buttons on an xbox 360 controller or how to find out?
              cheers
