Sorry if this had been asked before I have searched and been trying to work it out all weekend.. how do I turn on the launch sound?
I been in and out editing lines like a mad man (thankfully I backed up my image as I messed things up on a few times now)
Thanks in advance and sorry again

Wow, this would be perfect with my new "ZNES" mini!
Very impressed with what you did with the cardboard, I used a NES mini clone for my Pi, and made a series of videos of how to add the pie, make buttons work, and usb connectors... also might post one what to do with the leftovers!
-
@zippiz I really want to try it :)

That is so much better than my quick solution :D

@eisnerguy1 hey, I saw your pic, and I'm was thinking to follow the same step, but, as I said, I don't know if it's right to call it DOS or MS DOS, PC DOS, DOSBOX or any other variation, so, I chose the IBM Platform :)
and it's so cool to see people who liked this pics :D as I said, today I work only codding, and I had so much fun drawing these guys, not just for drawing, but it brings back some of memories of when I was a child, when I played with my dad some videogames, the MSX computer, lots of mario kart in my cousin house :)
thats why I chose stuff from my child, the hotbit msx, and today I discovered this one was just released here in brazil, the yellow plastic monitor from sun burn :p
I'll draw more, just need some ideas xD and @ruckage, if you like some, feel free to use them, loving your template, loving your art style, your work... I'll send a donation when I get a new card xD keep the work \o

Hi, glad you like the theme. You did a good job on those icons, they match my style well.
I really want to complete the theme on my own though as I've done so much of it already and want it to be all my own work, I hope you understand. I think your icons look really good but as @lilbud says I'm just stubborn :).
You can of course keep making more icons if you like, people may like alternatives to use. You should also have a go at making a theme yourself though, you obviously have a talent for drawing and more themes are always welcome here.
For those interested, my current list of systems that I'm working on is in the first post of this threrad but I'll paste it below as well. Sorry for the lack of new systems lately, I've been busy with other things but they will be added soon, along with collections/favourites and a default system. Once all that is done I think I would consider the theme more or less complete as it would cover most systems people would want.
I'll make an effort to get at least a few new systems added this week (probably 32x, Amiga, Dosbox, and Dreamacast as they are most often requested), along with the default theme so then at least there won't be any blank spaces for missing systems.
Current todo list:
Amiga
Amstrad CPC
Atari ST
DosBox
Dreamcast
Game & watch
Kodi
Love
MSX
MSX2
pc-engine cd
ScummVM
Sega 32x
Steam
Supergrafx
TG16 cd -
Have you edited a dl link to the launch screen art in the main post or am I just blind as a bat? haha
-
You can find them here: https://github.com/ruckage/nes-mini-theme-launch-images-for-retropie, I also have a separate thread for them.
To make things easier still @meleu has added them to rpie-art so you can install them via the raspberry pi.

I didn't even know you could do that!

@ruckage I might be doing a new youtube video soon, would it be ok if my Pi Zero would use your theme?

@ruckage

but I'll try to draw the dreamcast today, just love this console :3If you really want to draw some icons then at least pick systems that aren't on my list or that had various designs as I will be drawing all the items on my todo list. As I've said to several people I really want to complete this myself.
e.g, for alternatives some console had various later designs megadrives 2, snes mini, etc. at least then you won't be doing the same as I am.
-
@ruckage hum... nice idea... i'll draw some exclusive designs here from brazil!
this master system works like the NES and SNES mini, have lots of games inside the console...or the japanese sema mark III
-
@alexribeirodesa I didnt see Turbo grafx-16 CD (only PC engine CD) on the ruckage list, maybe you can draw that system
-
@bjose2345 I'll try to do something ^^
-
I've made icons for the next 6 systems that I will be working on this week (MSX, MSX2, Amiga, 32x, Dreamcast, and PC-Engine CD).
-
whooo hype!
-
@ruckage Awesome! Really is the perfect theme for my retropie setup :D
