Just got my rasberry pi 3 set up, got multiple games, few of them lag pretty good and make them unplayable. I have not overclocked or adjusted any settings. Completely stock settings. Mario cart has been having crashes while playing 4 player ect. wondering if any advice? thanks

I wouldn't expect too much from the N64 emulation, especially when utilizing four player support. N64 emulation on it's best day is spotty. On the Pi, it's a miracle it works as well as it does and trying to bring in three other players is really asking too much in most cases.

Some lag could be introduced by your TV set. Make sure you are using your TV's "game mode" if it has one and turn off as much post-processing (motion smoothing, noise reduction, etc.) as you can.

using xbox 360 controllers (they connected real easy)
no error messages just a straight freeze every 3 races or so. Tried 1 player nfl blitz its just extremely choppy. Using the guide off this website the video they supply. Using Retro pie 4.1
