A few MAME titles have reversed video
-
Retropie 4.1.16
mame-libretro: lr-mame2003 - 1.4.1 - MAME 2003 0.78 69163ccI'm going through my 0.78 ROM set getting rid of games that don't work (I'll probably post the final list of working titles here when done) and I noticed a couple of titles have reversed video (Text/gameplay is backwards).
Some titles with this issue:
S-FX
Super Speed Race JuniorThere are a few more but I can't remember them.
Is there a way to reverse the screen so I can get it aligned straight? There doesn't seem to be any video options in the in-game MAME menu and I couldn't find anything within the retroarch video options. Thanks for the help!

@madmodder123 Have you tried DIP switches? Might be there is a mirrored mode enabled. Some games do this because the cabinets have the CRT reversed and the image is projected onto a mirror or semi transparent glass.

do you mean flip or mirror videos? did you try VLC to reverse your videos? Well, copied the steps words from http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/mirror-videos.html for you
Step 1: Start VLC program and go to select “Open File” under Media menu to import the video you want to mirror.
Step 2: Choose the "Effects and Filters" option under "Tools" menu. And then a new window will pop up, go to "Video Effects" tab and then select "Geometry" tab. Tick the checkbox in front of "Transform" and pick "Flip Horizontally" or "Flip Vertically" from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: To add mirror video reflection effect, go to "Advanced" tab and check the box of "Mirror" option. Click the "Close" button to back to media player window.
Step 4: Finally, go to "Media" and select "Convert/Save", press "Add" in "File" tab to add the mirrored video, click Convert/Save and follow the onscreen instructions to save the result permanently. -
@madmodder123 I've found some similar issues with some old games in that regard, what I ended up going for was either FBA, Mame 2010 or AdvMame as it was caused by incomplete emulation in that version. Can't quite recall the titles though, but worth a shot.
