Old Gaming Magazine ideas
-
I've kept a large pile of Nintendo (and some mixed console) magazines from the late 90s, early 2000s around mainly for nostalgia sake but very rarely actually pick them up and read any.
As I've moved into a career where I'll be moving location a lot more I think it's finally time I parted with them. What do you reckon is the best thing to do? I don't really want a load of cash for them so don't fancy the ebay hassle. Was thinking I could just advertise as free to a good home in the local area but feel there must be some better idea.
Any suggestions welcome :)

@AlecTrevelyan at the very least you could scan them for archival purposes?
Nintendo power magazines?

@herb_fargus Yeah that's a good idea, they're UK based ones so 'N64 Magazine', 'Official Nintendo Magazine' and a few 'Games Master' ones. The days before youtube, gametrailers etc this was the best way to find out about other games. They didn't cater too well for it on TV.
I might keep a few of the ones that have interesting stuff about Zelda, Pokemon, Goldeneye, launch of the Gamecube.

I reckon we've got the same Nintendo mags stored! lol.
There are a number of websites that archive gaming magazines , so may be worth checking someone hasn't already scanned the magazines you own :)
e.g

(AKA the official Nintendo Magazine)
