Duke Nukem port question about mouselook
-
I can use the keyboard for any kind of movement, but I can't get the mouse to work as in ZDoom for example, even by toggle the mouselook option as ON, any clues?
While searching for the answer I found this, but can't figure it out anyways, what happened here?
-
@mahcneto i cant tell you exact part in settings since my stuff hasnt shown up from moving yet but i am pretty sure there is another option that enables the mouse. Mouse look wont enable it.
-
@edmaul69 Tried everything and still no mouselook. Are you sure that's the right place to look for that option? maybe is it somewhere else? plus, is there any way to get the atomic edition working as well? the one with more episodes and stuff
-
I vaguely remember in my testing getting it to work. Reference here:
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/pull/1274
Might be tad laggy
-
@mahcneto ok so if you are using zdoom start a doom game. Go into options. Then go into mouse options. First option is "enable mouse" and choose "yes". Then towards the bottom is the option "always mouse look" and set it to "on"

@edmaul69 wait, Zdoom? Does that supports Duke Nukem? How?
@herb_fargus How do I switch to SDL? What is SDL actually? -
@mahcneto im sorry. I read your post wrong. Mine uses mouse look. Go into options, control setup, mouse setup, set vertical aiming to yes. And in advanced setup in there i dont have a digital up, down, left, right set up
