Everything is up and running sweet with one exception - my iBuffalo SNES USB pad doesn't seem to like Daphne, as far as i can tell it is because the joypad tends to put out rogue signals as if it is over sensitive, and also it shows an access as positive or negative rather than absolute numbers...

Anyway, the upshot is i want to get a new joypad with the following criteria

USB (don't want to have any adapters)
SNES style if possible but NES/Megadrive is OK too
I have no need for twin sticks or analogue
      Must work with Daphne
      joypad rather then joystick
cheap and available in the UK

soooo, given the above, what are peoples latest thoughts and experiences - there is a lot of info out there but it is hard to wade through and i am lazy and looking for an easy and most importantly up-to-date set of views, as usual any and all advice would be appreciated.

In the past I had a cheap made in China NGC controller, it broke within 3 days, I also had a cheap arcade controller and that one also broke within a couple days. Most cheap controllers are garbage and will cost you more on the long run compared to a high quality controller.

I have been using my PS4 controller and it works great. The PS4 controller is great for SNES and if you're into PSX gaming its the perfect controller you can get.

Thanks - I do have a PS4 so will give that a go later. Cant get much cheaper than "already have"!
