      Hi,

      I'm new to Raspberry Pi and this forum. I've tried to reconfigure my generic Xbox 360 controller, but games still won't save.

      I was able to save games within the actual game like Super Mario up until 3 days ago and now even selecting save and quit or save and continue within the game doesn't save the game. I've tried the right shoulder button with select to save state as well, but they don't save.

      I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running on a 32gb as card and all my roms are loaded and seem to work seemlessly other than being able to save your progress. I am closing out as instructed by pressing select and start.

      I've tried NES and Super Ninetendo emulators and neither seem to save.

      Any suggestions?
