      Hi all,
the vice C64 emulator worked fine. Now I wanted to save the settings for using Joysticks. And after that all games runs very very fast and no sound is enabled.

I tried already deinstallig and rebooting and new installation. But I have the same problem. Is there still a condif file that I could delete? Or is formatting and installing the hole retropie my only chance?

      Best wishes

      Michael

I'm having the same problem. How do you do all these things?
I installed vice normally from the bios and started to play boulderdash.
Game runs on 900% speed and no sound.

I tried adjusting the speed settings to 10% speed and still no sound and 900% speed.

How do i delete the opt/retropie/configs thing?
Do i delete it trough wifi on my PC or?
Do i have to reinstall C64 again from the bios?

@retrofreak I think that Vice has a "warp" mode, this may be enabled by default. The "warp" is used to speed up loading times.

Check the settings in gui, I can't remember where the setting is, but I'm think it is under speed settings.

Turn this off and things should work OK.

Well i'm sure it's not in speed settings.. I tried everything it let me do on speed settings.
All it had was refresh rate and tape speed.

I tried everything and it didn't affect the game at all.
I guess i'm now in a manhunt to find that cursed "warp mode" somewhere.

@retrofreak Hi, I have just checked and the warp mode is under speed settings, the first option at the top of the screen is "warp mode" if a "*" appears next to it , it is enabled.

The is on the standalone version of Vice, it we be different if you are running lr-Vice.

Do you know which one you are running?
