      Retropie version 4.2.1 as started in the original post. I have dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS.

      I have tried with both of these combinations:

      dc_boot.bin = e10c53c2f8b90bab96ead2d368858623
      dc_flash.bin = 0a93f7940c455905bea6e392dfde92a4

      dc_boot.bin = d552d8b577faa079e580659cd3517f86
      dc_flash.bin = 74e3f69c2bb92bc1fc5d9a53dcf6ffe2

      I verified the md5 according to this link https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Dreamcast

      I was under the impression because I could access the clock and memory card settings and such that bios was installed correctly.

          @AlexMurphy Yes

          pi@retropie:~/RetroPie/BIOS $ openssl md5 dc_flash.bin
          MD5(dc_flash.bin)= 74e3f69c2bb92bc1fc5d9a53dcf6ffe2
          pi@retropie:~/RetroPie/BIOS $ openssl md5 dc_boot.bin
          MD5(dc_boot.bin)= d552d8b577faa079e580659cd3517f86

              @AlexMurphy

              The errors as stated in original post from runcommand.log have something to do with "OMX: underrun occurred" and an error on line 88 of reicast.sh.

                  @AlexMurphy

                  From file /opt/retropie/emulators/reicast/bin/reicast.sh

                  Lines 86-88

                  else
                      "$rootdir/emulators/reicast/bin/reicast" "${params[@]}" >/dev/null
                  fi

                    @HSlicker Without getting all up on your bee-snez... I would say you have gone rogue at some point. Somebody has done something as a root user. I recommend re-setting the permissions via the setup script. If you need help let me know.

                      Well, I can see why AlexMurphy got banned. Rude and unhelpful in the extreme.

                      I'm having the same issue.

                        @trumad i think at this point it would be a good idea to just start a new thread (filling out the info requested in the sticky), and just put a reference link to this [dead] thread.

                        going into a bit more detail on your setup, what you're tried, etc. can also be helpful when troubleshooting something like this.

                        best of luck.
