SD card storage full after upgrade
-
Hi guys and gals. I've upgraded my system to 4.2.1 and then updated all installed packages. Its done that fine, apart from MAME2014 and MAME2016, where I get an error that it could not find /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/lr-mame2014/mame2014_libreto.so
My bigger problem however it that unfortunately it has used up all my remaining free space on my SD card. I think I had around +500MB free and now I have nothing. Is this because the new packages are bigger, or did the temp files not get deleted after the update? Is there any way to check if there are temp files left on the card that I don't need and I can delete?
Can I just delete anything that is in /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/ ?? Are there any other temp folder that I need to check?
Details of my machine are as following:
Pi Model or other hardware: Pi B3
Power Supply used: original raspberry pi one (5V 2.5A)
RetroPie Version Used: 4.2.1
Built From: retropie-3.8.1-rpi2_rpi3.img
USB Devices connected: nil
Controller used: PSX -
I just checked what I'm using and I've got 10.2GB worth of ROMs loaded onto a 16GB SD card, so I'm missing 5.8GB. I understand that part of this is for RetroPie and all the emulators, but surely this does not require that much space.
Thoughts anyone?
