I copied this folder to the exact location of where it needs to be. I see the games and videos. The mame will go to the splash screen for loading the game and then go back to the game list.

      /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade

1 - Does anyone know why? It's a new imaged SD card
2 - Where do the error logs populate so I can figure it out myself if no one else knows.
3 - What version does the the Arcade mame use for romset?

      Thanks..

This is not meant to be rude, but every one of your questions has been frequently addressed on these forums and more importantly, can best be answered by reading the official documentation.

you will be much better off starting from scratch and installing retropie and then adding individual rompacks as you go along - this way you will understand everything better and be able to work out what is going wrong. As mediamogul says, the answers are all there in the wiki.

Also, you will end up with the retropie that you want, rather than what someone else has designed.

Roms: Pretty much all of them...

Also, it appears as though Hyperpie Motion Blue is a 3rd party image, which are not supported here.
