    my retropie card isent working in my new pi

      i have a pi 2 and retropie works just fine but i got a pie 3 and put the card in it and it dosent boot up am i missing something??

        @craig What version of RetroPie were you running on the Pi 2? If you put the SD card back in the Pi 2, does it still work? How did you install RetroPie initially? Was it from the RetroPie image on retropie.org.uk or did you install it on top of an existing Raspbian image?

          im not sure on the version i dont know how to find out. but ya it still works in my pie 2
          the image and instructions i used where from the petrock i think and it was a new sd card.
          i did hget a sd card with noobs on it already when i got the pi3 and i started it up tht that and instaled rasbian but that shouldnt matter if i take that card out and put my retropie card in right
