      @thebear123 Sounds like very power hungry display.
      Running from the same power supply?

        @xeon Kinda. They both take power from a branch, wich is full

            Can you please fill in the grid from https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first , to make it simple I have included it below:

            Pi Model or other hardware: (B, B+, 2 B, 3, X86 PC etc..)
            Power Supply used: (If using a Pi)
            RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest):
            Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website, Berryboot, or on top of existing OS etc.. - please provide the filename of any image used)
            USB Devices connected:
            Controller used:
            Error messages received:
            Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
            Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
            File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
            Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable)
            Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
            How to replicate the problem:

              @thebear123 can you give me the model number and brand of the monitor? We could help you set the correct resolution if we knew more about the monitor

                  @edmaul69 It has a 1280X1024 at 75 Hz resolution

                    @thebear123 so you need to open up /boot/config.txt and change your hdmi_mode and hdmi_group to this:

                    hdmi_group=2
                    hdmi_mode=36
                    

                    This is the setting for 1280x1024@75hz

                        @thebear123 Could you uncomment the following line in /boot/config.txt?

                        hdmi_force_hotplug=1
                        

                        This should force a HDMI mode even though your monitor doesn't support it.
